You will spend the first two years of your apprenticeship in the sales department. You will be introduced to the processing of orders. You will enter customer orders, place supplier orders, fulfil stock orders and enter production orders. You will also take on other important tasks, such as monitoring delivery dates, creating delivery reminders and carrying out exports. In the sales department, you will often have telephone or written contact with customers. You will spend the third year of your apprenticeship in our production planning and control department. In this department, you will be part of the lynchpin between the sales department and our production department. Your main tasks will be to finalise our production orders, deliver customer orders, manage our warehouse and carry out weekly deliveries. In this department, you will have more internal contact with various departments such as production and logistics. You will also be responsible for the reception area and will be the first point of contact for our visitors.
Throughout your training, you will be introduced to the telephone switchboard and office supplies management in addition to the two main departments. You will also be assigned to the accounts department once a year. This will be particularly helpful for the school subject of accounting. As it is important to us that you get to know our entire company, you will also complete an annual assignment in our logistics department, where you will see what happens to the delivery notes that you trigger in sales and production planning and control. In the third year of your apprenticeship, you will also spend a week in the training workshop of our polymechanic trainees and produce your own finished part on our CNC machines with the help of the trainees.
